Krishnakatha - Story for meditation - 23/11/2012 - Sankirtana Nectar Story - Oh! My GOD - Thanks to Bhakti Sara Prabhu for sharing this wonderful preaching / book distribution nectar with all of us.

Dear Prabhus,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I want to share a Nectar Sankirtana Story to get blessings & to glorify Srila Prabhupada's Book Distribution.

I was distributing books at the corner of Bourke & Swanston Streets in Melbourne CBD. Suddenly an Indian man in nice suit approached us & asked "Is this Bhagavad Gita, how much is it for, I want it". From his looks I thought the man should be having a good job so I said "This is a soft copy for students, you should get a hard one which lasts longer." The man replied "Yes please give it to me". I said that "I don't have a copy now but my friend is about to come in 2 minutes with Hard cover Bhagavad Gitas."

The man said "I am going upstairs in this building. On level 2 there is a small college which I own." I said "Ok, you go upstairs, I will come there in 5 minutes with Bhagavad Gita".

Soon Krsna Prema Prabhu arrived with more books & I went to the man's office. He gave me a seat very politely & said "I came from India to Australia & have worked hard, earned some money but now in my life I want to get some knowledge. I want to teach Bhagavad Gita to my 2 daughters"

He gave me 50 Dollars & took 2 Bhagavad Gitas, 1 Krsna Book & 4 Small books.

Then he revealed that actually he was watching a Bollywood movie "Oh My God" & in that movie the famous actor Akshay Kumar played the role of God (Krsna) & instructed another actor Paresh Rawal to read Bhagavad Gita. This inspired this businessman Rajan to read Bhagavad Gita.

I took his card & am in touch with him.
